Frequently asked questions
A few useful details before you enquire.
Answers for first-time clients and returning visitors — enquiries, pricing, what to expect on the day, and what happens after you submit the form.
01Where is Jessie Rose Studio based?
The studio is in Wedmore, Somerset (BS28), at Unit 3, Borough Mews, The Borough Yard. Clients travel from across Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and the Mendip area for appointments. Directions are on the contact page.
02Do you tattoo clients from Bristol?
Yes. The studio is based in Wedmore and welcomes tattoo enquiries from Bristol, Somerset and nearby towns. Submit a request online to begin.
03Is my request a confirmed appointment?
No. The form starts the conversation. A date, duration and price are confirmed separately after the request has been reviewed.
04What happens after I submit the enquiry form?
You receive an email with deposit payment instructions. Send proof of payment by reply. Jessie then agrees a date with you — the appointment is not confirmed until your deposit is received.
05What should I include in my enquiry?
Describe the idea or subject, placement, approximate size, whether you are considering black and grey or colour, and the days or times that tend to suit you.
06Can I share reference images?
Yes. You can attach an optional reference image with your tattoo enquiry. Please only upload images you have the right to share.
07How much will my appointment cost?
Bottomless tattoo sessions start at £70. Full-day tattoo sessions are £300. Custom tattoo designs receive a set price after review.
08Does getting a tattoo hurt?
Most people feel some discomfort, but pain varies by placement, size and individual tolerance. Bony or sensitive areas tend to feel stronger than fleshy ones. If you are nervous, say so in your enquiry — Jessie can talk through what to expect.
09Do I need to bring ID?
Yes. Valid photo ID is required at your appointment. Tattoo services are for adults aged 18 and over only.
10What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear comfortable clothing that gives easy access to the area being tattooed — for example, loose layers if your arm or leg is being worked on. Avoid tight or brand-new clothes you would mind getting a little ink on.
11How long will my session be?
That depends on the service you book — from a one-hour bottomless session to a full day for larger work. Jessie confirms the expected duration when your appointment is agreed.
12Can I bring someone with me?
One guest is usually fine in a small studio setting, but space is limited. Mention it in your enquiry or when confirming your date if you would like someone to accompany you.
13What aftercare will I need?
Jessie explains aftercare on the day and general healing guidance is on the aftercare page. Follow the instructions given for your tattoo and get in touch if anything concerns you during healing.
14Do I need to be 18?
Yes. Tattoo services are offered to adults aged 18 and over only. Valid photo identification is required at your appointment.
